Can we prove that we do not live in a Simulation ? And this is a bounded question. I am not saying, we will prove that we are not in a ‘dream world’ and by waking up, we ‘snap out’ of this dream world. No. What I am interested in, is this universe we currently observe a simulated (computationally simulated) universe. Because simulation has a very specific meaning, and gets conflated with all kinds of ‘imaginary’ ideas of what a ‘simulation’ is. If we can prove this, then at least, a huge chunk of the anxiety inducing sci-fi becomes irrelevant; and on top of that list, the Matrix :D
